IT-Technician Support

Responsibilities

Hardware Responsibilities:
-Set up, install & maintain PC’s in the college.
-Set up of AV equipment as requested and booked by academic/administrative staff.

Software Responsibilities:
-Install, configure and upgrade operating systems.
-Install, configure and upgrade Anti Virus systems as per departmental schedule.
-Install software for each department as and when required.
-Troubleshoot computer systems.
-Troubleshoot software such as updating, incompatibility with OS, Virus in PC and reformatting a PC.
-Responsible for all stages of front-end user/web interface development.
-Copy CD teaching as and when required.

Administration:
-Responsible for stock of and tracking use of Ink Cartridge for academic and administrative use.
-Liaison with office equipment service suppliers for computers, printers, and photocopier.
-Responsible for producing employees and students ID cards.
-All other duties assigned by superior.


Requirements
-Minimum qualifications of Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science or any related discipline.
-At least 2 years of working experience.
-Knowledge in computer networking, Microsoft Operating System & Server Management would be an advantage.
-Self motivated.
-Good command of English & Malay Language.
-Must have the ability to prioritize, multitask and follow up on task well.
-Pleasant personality & service oriented.
-Experienced working in education industry would be an added advantage,
